Photography Permits

One of Southern Alberta’s most unique cultural landscapes featuring historic pathways, bridges, benches, and perennial flowers beds. Our historic resource provides a beautiful backdrop for engagement, wedding, family, or graduation photos.

A photo permit must be purchased prior to taking photos at the Coutts Centre for Western Canadian Heritage and the permit holder must have the permit with them during their booking.

Information:

  • Permit holders are permitted to take photos in all areas of the garden, but access is shared with public park visitors. If the events building is booked, access will be denied to that area.
  • Capacity: up to 20 people
  • Rate: $150.00
  • Maximum three-hour booking.

To preserve the fragile surroundings of this historic site, bookings are only available May 1 – October 30 on a limited basis. A permit is required to take photos. The permit holder is responsible for ensuring attendees follow the conditions of use and garden etiquette.

This permit is self-serve, with no staff assistance.

Permit provides access to washrooms and parking on the west side of the property

Coutts Centre for Western Canadian Heritage is not responsible for loss or damages. We reserve the right to limit and/or decline bookings.

Cancellation is required via email, sent to coutts.centre@uleth.ca

Full payment of permit is due 7 days after the booking is confirmed. Payment is by e-transfer to coutts.centre@uleth.ca
